March Madness
2024, 2025
The Innovation Arena gives fans the opportunity to feel what itʼs like to play in March Madness. All made possible with innovations inspired by companies in the Invesco QQQ ETF.
The idea centered on putting fans on a basketball half-court, surrounded by LED walls displaying a raucous crowd within a stadium arena, reacting to your every move using augmented reality, artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
In addition to an experiential activation live at the Final Four, we also produced social content and designed signage and merchandise for employee engagement.
Our team worked with 160 over 90 to design the physical build and merchandise for the activation. Groove Jones created three game experiences that users can choose from to put themselves on the court to shoot either a buzzer beater, a clutch free throw or hot hands.
For the 2024 and 2025 experiential activations, I designed printed assets like the wall graphics for the physical build, stanchion graphics, signage and merchandise. Our team gave direction on the digital game experience, materials and construction of the build.
Social content
Leading up to the Final Four our team works with 160 over 90 to produce content highlighting our partnership with the NCAA. Our internal organic social team also produces content throughout the Final Four showcasing the activation and experience.
Here is a sampling of some of the content.
